What we do
Older furniture in Karachi homes is often solid wood with careful handwork, the kind that is hard to find today. Restoration strips away old, cracked finishes, repairs joints and missing parts, and refinishes the wood by hand.
We take our time with these pieces. Before starting, we talk through what should be kept, such as the original colour, carving or hardware, and what should be renewed.

Common questions
Will restoration spoil the character of an old piece?
Careful restoration keeps as much of the original as possible. Tell us what matters to you, whether that's the original colour, marks of age or old hardware, and we'll plan around it.
What's the difference between restoration and polish?
Polish refreshes the surface. Restoration goes deeper: joints, missing parts, carving and a full refinish.
Can you remake a missing part?
Often, yes. Send photos of the piece and of where the part is missing, and we'll tell you what we can do.
How long does restoration take?
Longer than a regular polish, because glue and finishes need time to set. We'll give you an expected date once we've seen the piece.
